7:17     Reviewed rejected contracts related to summer programming and consider a motion to fund summer programming from Phase II Youth programming partnership initiatives ($42,000):
·      This funding is coming from NRP money, which is less restrictive
·      Reviewed proposals
·      MPRB Swimming $6,000
·      MPRB Summer in the City $6,899
·      PACE – basketball camps $6,500
·      Standing Solid Cheer Team $6,000
·      Liga Hispana and Bike On
Reviewed rejected contracts from other community priorities
MOTION: EPICs board recommends funding the following projects totaling $25,399.00:
·      MPRB Swimming $6,000
·      MPRB Summer in the City $6,899
·      PACE – basketball camps $6,500
·      Standing Solid Cheer Team $6,000
CP, StS, Approved unanimously

8:00     Address potential funding from the rejected playground proposal from Little Earth
·      Ask to see bids and how many bids they got
MOTION: EPICs board recommends funding 50% of the cost up to $33,000 for the Little Earth NELC Playground project, upon receipt of three bids and subject to secured funding for the balance of the cost. This commitment will expire on 3/31/2021 in the event that Little Earth is not able to secure the remaining funds. LD, SaS, amended, Approved unanimously.
DISCUSSION: where is this funding coming from?
·      Move some of the funds from other phases or use funds from crime and safety and youth programming ($33,000 from neighborhood priority crime and safety)
·      Do we want to fund any other youth programming?

9:19     Review Ethrophic ‘rejected’ letter – who will send out? And when?

9:30     What do we want to say to the community – need to update at the community meeting on Thursday
